The Herdade of S. Miguel aims to guarantee a great level of satisfaction to its clients, by producing wine with an excellent relationship of quality-price. To reach its objective, we promote the personal development of all staff, with a balanced return of all invested capital.
The wine cellar was projected and built in 2003, located at the centre of the Herdade of Sao Miguel, created to transform 1 000.000 kilos of grapes annually, with maximum consideration for its genuineness.
During the process of winemaking, segregation is carried out, of wines derived from various grape varieties and parcels. During the process, we combine traditional techniques such as winemaking in wooden vats using manual maceration with modernized techniques such as automatic winemakers.
Aging Period The wine´s aging can be carried out in vats or in barrels, depending on the type of wine.
